Miro Žbirka: Symphonic Night
The timeless hits of the legendary Meky will come to life in a unique symphonic arrangement, showcasing not only their beauty and sensitivity, but also their timeless appeal, which continues to resonate with new generations. This symphonic evening, brimming with musical elegance and emotion, follows on from the successful 2011 Symphonic Album project, as well as the collaboration with the Moravian Philharmonic Olomouc at that time. Songs such as “Balada o poľných vtákoch”, “Atlantída”, “Len s ňou”, “Múr našich lások” and “Co bolí, to přebolí” will be performed, accompanied by David Žbirka’s striking video art. The special guest of the evening will be the award-winning cellist Terezie Kovalová, whose sensitive interpretation will add a further dimension to the songs.
