Chamber Concerts

In its 81st season, the Moravian Philharmonic Orchestra’s chamber concerts will once again take place in the beautiful setting of the Red Church. Baroque and Classical concertante works will be combined with compositions from various stylistic periods, performed by chamber ensembles of varying instrumentation. The series will feature the violin, oboe and clarinet. The MFO chamber ensemble will be led from the first chair by violinist Martina Bačová. Zbyněk Müller and Valentin Uryupin, acclaimed conductors of opera and symphonic works, will also appear as top-tier soloists. We will celebrate the 75th birthday of the exceptional violinist Václav Hudeček, as well as the 60th anniversary of his very first performance with the MFO.
